Herrmann Ultraschall provides Arburg with a HiQ VARIO ultrasonic welding system free of charge for the Lossburg-based company's large mask project (see press release). A three-layer fleece is welded as a rectangular blank between the breathing valve and the housing. An energy director in the injection-moulded housing part ensures secure fixing. Afterwards, the excess material is cut off by laser. The breathing valve in the silicone part is exchangeable. We are excited to be part of this important project.
